How to stay ahead when working quickly?

-I am a dishwasher at a restaurant and need to be quick and keep moving forward. I have a really busy night and want to stay ahead. I have to wash all the regular plates when the bussers bring them and the pans and cooks plates. I also have to do silverware and bring the plates to the cooks after I wash them. Has anyone been a dishwasher or know what it's like and have any tips? Any would be great.
