I need tips on when going in for a interview for a job?
-How do you dress? do you tuck your shirt in? What do you say? What do they look for? I went in to talk to the manager and my shirt was not tucked.Unless you're interviewing for a professional career job you don't need to wear a suit, but always tuck in your shirt. Wear khaki pants or if you must wear jeans make sure they aren't old faded ones. Don't wear beat up athletic shoes. Don't chew gum. Have clean hair and nails. Turn off your cell phone. Shake hands when you meet the person doing the interview. Look them in the eye when speaking to them and speak up so they can hear you. Answer the questions as best you can. Ask any questions you may have about the job. When the interview is over thank them for their time and shake hands before you leave. How you dress depends on the job you're having the interview for! If you wear a shirt I would tuck it in. They're looking if you're able to the job they might hire you for. You should do your homework and know something about the company you're having the interview with. Most important is to convince them that you're the right person for the job, to be interested in what the company wants. Don't overdo it and boast about yourself, that really is not done!
