Is it true that you can't be a waitress at 16, not until 18?

-And why is that?

Is a 16 year old likely to make more money babysitting or being a server? It depends on the local laws, but in general a 16-year old can work as a waiter or waitress.

However, to serve alcohol, you have to be at least 18 (21 in some places), so some restaurants wouldn't hire someone who can't serve drinks to the patrons.

Second question: I've known people who made good money babysitting, and I've known people who made good money waiting tables, and I've known people who made lousy money doing those things, too. So it all depends on the labor market where you are, and how good you are at your job.
if u want to be a waitress, it is OK. in some small restaurants, it is possible that u can be hired do something different is more interesting to do the chores anyway, give a try telling the boss the desire u have for the work.]
babystting.. it's more comfortable.. depends.. who pays more.
No that is not true. Some waitresses need to be 19 or 21 serving alcohol, but I became a watress at Denny's at 16.
if a person want to be a waitress,his/her age doesn't matter.
