My first job interview?

-Hi people



I am 16 years old, a male, and I'm going to be applying for my first job at a grocery store sometime this week, and I am going to be very nervous when I'm being interviewed by them becuase I am somewhat of a shy person when it comes to these types of things..



So I'm wondering, what questions will they ask me during the interview?

What are some good basic answers to these questions?

Do you have any tips for me?



ThanksTHe most important rule is, "be yourself" but..."Be the best self you can be"



That is, wear your best clothes, be on your best behaviour....but don't try and be someone that you are not.





For this type of job it is not likely to be too formal.



They might ask you to "Describe yourself". Now apply our rule, find the best things about yourself, and find the ones that match the job. "I am a hard working person, I am quiet, but I like to help people."



They might also ask "Why do you want to work here". There are lots of good answers to this, you create and answer that combines several.



"I would like to learn more about customer service and retail."

"This job is close to my school/home" (these means you are not likely to be late, or quit your job)

"I am a concientious person, who likes to help people. I think I would suite this job"



They might also ask about your future...remember, tie it into the job.



"I would like to be a manager, I think. Retail management is a good option, so I would like to learn as much as I can about retail"
