-I'm going to be a sophomore in college and I am still undecided about my major. I know I want to work in a business related field (Information Systems, finance, accounting, economics, etc) or information analysis/business intelligence field. Although, many of these majors lead to careers where I would be stuck behind a desk all day. I would not mind having to spend time in this position, but I would prefer moving about, interacting with people, traveling, or spending time anywhere else besides a desk. Could anyone give me insight as to what majors would lead me to a career where I would not be left behind a desk all day?Construction Management or Concrete Industry Management takes you out on jobsites a lot, and so does Civil Engineering. The job market for both isn't good right now because of the housing collapse, but it may get better later.
You could also get a degree in Information Systems and find a job selling corporate software solutions too, this would get you out into a lot of different environments as well.
