-I'm part of a panel interveiwing some applicants tomorrow. Im early 20's have the biggest say in who gets the job as i'll be working with them and have 2 applicants i am particularly interested in.
Applicant 1 - young - similar age, fresh talent but maybe a little raw, dynamic, will need training from the ground up, male
Applicant 2 - older, safe, well versed in the role, will transition nicely and ensure steady progress as i have worked with this person on many projects, female
I have my loyalties to app2, and know "our team" would progress nicely. I dont see any amazing work, but i see good progression of good work. This applicant is very safe, very nice and will get along easily with others
App1 i see potential for growth with the possiblility of things going either to the gutter or skyrocketing to something great. This applicant is a risk for disaster or greatness, and may breathe a breath of fresh air into a national group that needs it.
Any thoughts? who would you choose?Applicant 1 -
