Applying for a job within the same company?

-I work for a company and have applied fir another job within the same company but a different division, so is the recruitment process the same as if i was an external candidate because this job posting is not just for internal candidates?Ask your company HR department. They may prioritise internal applications and they may not. Provided they don't discriminate on grounds of sex, race, disability, age, etc employers are free to recruit in any way they wish.
