Can you get unemployment if you quit your job?

-My boss at new place where i been working is always saying **** to me and said i new im learning he an asshole. He even said maybe you don't want to be here anymore so if i quit can i get unemployment?

I just can't take it anymore? In some cases you can get unemployment if you quit your job. But in this situation you'll need to do a little more than just get fed up.

I would have a talk with you supervisor. Tell them that you don't like the way your being treated. I would also advise that you have somebody else there to witness this conversation. After that I would give it time. If he doesn't change, then I would talk to his boss. If that doesn't get you anywhere then yes, I would quit and file.

It is a batte to get unemplyment either way. But don't torture yourself. But don't think that you'll be guaranteed to get it either.
There are some circumstances where you can, but "my boss is an a$$hole and I can't take it any more" would not qualify.
No you cannot get unemployment if you quit your job. Quitting, resigning, or abandoning a job all involve a voluntary decision to stop working and receiving a paycheck. You are not laid off through no fault of your own when you quit a job. If you submit a claim to unemployment, your former manager will be contacted to find out why you no longer work there. When your boss lets the state know that you quit, it becomes clear that you are unemployed by personal choice, and your claim for benefits will be denied. Also the fact that you are new at this job means that you have not worked long enough to qualify for unemployment benefits even if you are laid off.
No. Quit=no unemployment.
No, you can't. You don't get UE for being voluntarily unemployed.
