My first job interview?

I am 16 years old, a male, and I'm going to be applying for my first job at a grocery store sometime this week, and I am going to be very nervous when I'm being interviewed by them becuase I am somewhat of a shy person when it comes to these types of things..



So I'm wondering, what questions will they ask me during the interview?

What are some good basic answers to these questions?

Do you have any tips for me?



ThanksFirst of all I want to share some things that I've learned in interviews that I've had ( I'm 18). When you go on an interview, remember that its an interview and not an interrogation :) they want you to talk too! Bring a list of questions to ask because they WILL ask you if you have any questions. Ask about their company and what you can expect from a normal day at work. They're going to ask you questions like: are you a good leader? What make you want to work here? Why should we hire you? What are one of your best qualities? And more questions about what kind of worker you'll be. When answering their questions, make your answers are relevant to how your skills will benefit their company; that's all they really want, to know why you're the right person for the job. Its okay to be nervous, but try to express how excited you are about this job opportunity. Show them that you prepared for this interview by being organized. Good luck on your interview! You'll do awesome! :)Well since you are 16 they wont be asking if you have any work experience. Unless you do of course but that would be on your application and they'll have that with them during the interview. More than likely the interviewer will be telling you about the job, the duties and what it requires. They wont be asking anything out of the ordinary except maybe how you do you get along with others or what your personality is like. The questions asked may also included prior work duties and how you handled certain aspects of your last job or how or what you'd do with a certain task at this job.



If you can, research all you can about the job you will be applying for and ask short brief questions about the job during the interview. This will show them that you are interested and not just some high school kid who is going to quit without a reason.
