Careers in animal therapy?

-I am going to be a senior in high school this coming year, so I need to start making plans for college. I would really love to work with animals, and have been considering training or working with service or therapy animals such as guide dogs, assistance animals, or any animals involved in animal-assisted therapy. The main reason I am interested in these is that I love animals, of all sorts, and working with them is what makes me truly happy, especially since I do not deal well with large groups of people, however working one-on-one with one person and an animal would be much easier. Just the idea of training animals to help people with either physical or mental handicaps to live a normal life is something that I would find very rewarding. I also have an interest in psychology, but would not like to be a therapist.

What would be some courses or majors for me in college for careers with either of these? I was thinking psychology and animal behavior would be best, but I have been having difficulty finding resources for this, so anything you have would be a great help. Thank you in advance.
