Follow up on interview?

-Friday I had an interview that went alright from my end lol. The guy told me he has a couple more interviews. So this upcoming Friday I was thinking I'd send a follow up email thanking the HM for allowing me to meet with her staff member, her having questions, ect. Is that okay or should I call? And should I send it earlier that 7 days after my interview?? I want her to kinda keep my name in mind.It is better if you call but an email can be okay. I think you should call maybe 5 days after your interviewI have always followed up on all my interviews,and in my experience,if they want to offer you the job...they call!!! They have your application,they have your number and after all the interviews their mind is made up already. Following up has done me no good whatsoever and in some cases people were just plain rude about it. Just being honest.
