Is it bad for your future to not have a job in highschool?

-I'm going to be a senior in highschool this year and still don't have a job. Will this hurt me and make it harder to find a job after i graduate if i want to be a ups/ fedex driver or over the road truck driver??It only hurts you personally as you've got little work experience. I'm 18 and work for an employer who gets me lots of random jobs around my town, so 1 day I could be in retail and another hauling boxes onto trucks, I have good idea of what I want to do from having gotten all this work experience.



You may want to be a van/truck driver now, but I'd recommend getting some driving jobs before hand, Pizza Delivery or something, see if you like it. Maybe work in retail.



As a young guy, you can work for loads of people and when you're an old fart telling your kids and their grandkids the stories of how you worked as a Pizza Delivery man and got stabbed for a Pepperoni pizza....having a job experience look alot better on your resume. &&& you'll have a "one up" on the others you graduate with, try applying as a driver at ALL you local pizza places, or anywhere that needs a delivery man! remember no matter the job dress to impress at interviews or even picking up an application.
If you want to be a usp driver or fed ex driver... It will not hurt you at all, in my opinion... Its best to get through school first then get a job unless you really need or want cash and your parents expect you to.. Ups and fedex drivers look for drivers with lots of experience and a clean driving record.. (no DWI's, drugs) and stuff like that...
It might. It might not . Depends. I think you should get a job. But a small job. Your still in high school, so maybe a small job at like a fast food restaurant. Just to make a little extra cash.
do not worry that. focus on the present. the part-time job will distract your attention unless u can handle it. when u graduate, there is enough time for u to get experience, but there is enough patience to study later.
No. Your fine! It's hard to find a job nowadays, especially for teens. But, I know that gap and oldnavy is hiring. Check there.
