Missed a day of work by accident!?

-Hey last time I checked my schedule at Wendy's it said I had today off, but I forgot I looked at last weeks schedule instead of this weeks! So i missed today and I just checked my phone and it had a message from my manager telling me I had to work today!!! I am so worried, what should I tell them tomorrow please help!!!!I agree with the above poster. It's almost happened to me. I thought I was working a night, but my boss had changed it to 8 a.m. and at 8:05 he was calling me saying "You know you have to work today? Now?" I just apologized, said I thought I was on the same schedule as last week, and said I would always carefully read the schedule. I wasn't even written up. You *might* be, but it takes 2 or 3 write-ups to get fired usually. Just work your behind off so they know you're a valued employee.
